Terms of Service

Last updated: March 2026

The Service

Finatha is a personal financial planning tool. It helps you organise information about your own finances — accounts, income, goals, bills, debts, and remittances — so you can make more informed decisions.

Finatha is not a financial advisor, investment manager, bank, broker, money transmitter, or regulated financial services provider of any kind. Nothing on Finatha constitutes financial advice, investment advice, tax advice, or legal advice.

No Money Movement

Finatha does not move, hold, or transmit money. All financial data in Finatha is information you enter manually for planning purposes only. Balances shown are those you have recorded — they are not connected to your actual bank accounts.

Any calculations (EOSB estimates, zakat guidance, net worth, projections) are illustrative estimates based on the information you provide. They are not guarantees of any financial outcome.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use Finatha. By creating an account, you confirm that:

  • You are at least 18 years of age
  • You are using the service for personal, non-commercial purposes
  • The information you enter is your own and is entered voluntarily
  • You will not attempt to misuse, reverse-engineer, or disrupt the service

Your Data

You own your data. Finatha does not claim any rights over the financial information you enter. We store it securely on your behalf and use it solely to provide the service to you.

You are responsible for the accuracy of the data you enter. Finatha is only as useful as the information you provide it.

You may request export or deletion of your data through the product features we provide or by contacting Finatha support. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

Disclaimers

No financial advice. All content on Finatha — including EOSB calculations, zakat guidance, remittance comparisons, and savings rate estimates — is for informational and educational purposes only. Before making any financial decision, consult a qualified financial professional.

Accuracy of calculations. EOSB, zakat, and other calculations are based on common formulas and publicly available rules. Laws change. Your employment contract may differ. Always verify with your employer, a licensed accountant, or relevant authorities.

Availability. We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Planned maintenance or unexpected issues may cause temporary downtime.

No warranty. Finatha is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use Finatha for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to access another user's account or data
  • Upload malicious code, conduct security attacks, or attempt to reverse-engineer the platform
  • Use Finatha on behalf of a third party without their explicit knowledge and consent
  • Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to access or collect data from the platform

Account Termination

You may request account deletion at any time through Finatha support. Deletion is permanent and irreversible. All your financial data will be removed from our systems within 30 days.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with or without notice, at our sole discretion.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms as the product evolves. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of Finatha after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

The current version of these terms is always available at finatha.app/terms.
